The project by photographer Katja Goljat explores the role of foraging in contemporary society and highlights the importance of reconnecting with nature. Interwoven with her own family roots, the work reflects a deeply personal narrative about heritage and belonging.
The exhibition is presented at the Bohinj History Museum (Tomaž Godec), which will, for the first time, reveal spaces usually hidden behind its walls and open them exclusively for this show. The opening will be accompanied by a cyanotype workshop and a special walk with herbalist Monika Stojc, who will guide visitors through the museum’s flower and herb garden and share freshly prepared herbal delicacies.
