On the edge of silence – the decision is near

For the first edition of the OKO Photo Festival, we received an impressive 199 submissions from 69 countries, created by artists from 53 different nationalities, ranging in age from 18 to 71. Each photographic series brought forward a unique way of seeing – crossing borders, languages, and generations. Our international jury – Stefano Carini, Lars Lindemann, Fernanda Prado Verčič, Marija Skočir and Nika Perne – is now entering the final stage of selection, reflecting carefully on the final works before the announcement of the selected finalists and winner. We are deeply grateful for your patience, support, and trust in this process. In the coming days, we will share a few behind-the-scenes insights from the jury’s work and take you closer to the moment of decision. Thank you to everyone who shared their vision with us.
