Shifting Narratives is an intensive three-day workshop that invites photographers to move beyond crisis imagery and create stories that foster empathy, imagination, and cultural resilience.
Through a combination of practical work with existing portfolios, curatorial exercises, group reflection, and online lectures by international experts, participants will explore regenerative approaches to visual storytelling – approaches that not only address challenges but also open space for connection and change.
Led by internationally recognised curator and mentor Stefano Carini, participants will:
-
work with and re-curate their own portfolios,
-
receive in-depth feedback and personalised mentoring,
-
attend online talks by guest experts András Zoltai and Maroussia Mbaye.
The workshop is designed for mid- to advanced-level photographers working in environmental, documentary, or conservation photography.
