Guided tour of the exhibition Dreams in Blue

Alejandra Orosco

The exhibition Dreams in Blue tells the story of the disappearance of indigo in Peru and the longing of local artisans for its return. Their story of a lost dye reveals how climate change, colonial history, and modern pressures shape the fate of traditional crafts.

Situated on the Rju Bridge, designed by the architectural studio Ostan Pavlin, the exhibition takes on special significance: the wooden structure connecting the banks of the Sava Bohinjka River becomes a symbol of the intertwining of past and future, the local landscape, and the distant story of Peru.
